Welcome

We are a community of people from very different backgrounds and localities who are seeking to live intentionally, using stillness, silence and creativity to connect with God and be resourced to weave hope into everyday life and lives. To help us do this we live to a Rule (or Rhythm) of life and share prayers in our Daily Office (prayers at certain times throughout the day). In the inclusive tradition of Jesus, we welcome all to ‘Come and see’!

Sanctuary Space

Sanctuary Space is our name for a time of retreat, such as a Quiet Day or Morning. We have found these spaces of quiet, reflection and creativity to be incredibly valuable in our own spiritual journeys and so we choose to host a number of different Sanctuary Spaces, offering all the opportunity to experience stillness, silence and space to pray and be creative alongside others. Some of these are online, and some are in person at various venues. You can explore some of our upcoming events below, or click here to find out more.

Safeguarding
Keeping each other and our vistitors safe is our top priority. For us, safeguarding is not simply a box to tick but an ongoing attitude of love and care, particularly for children and vulnerable adults associated with the Community of Hopeweavers. To this end we follow the Church of England Safeguarding guidelines. Our policies can be found here. If you have any safeguarding matter to raise with the Community then please email safeguarding@hopeweavers.org.uk. Click here to find agencies that provide support and assistance.
